Manchester United go in behind at half-time having largely caused their own problems. Maya le Tissier's backpass was too short and that enabled Katja Snoeijs to nip in, take the ball around Mary Earps and give the visitors the lead.

A furious Earps screamed at her defenders, but then nearly herself gifted Everton a second with a loose pass, only for Kathrine Moller Kuhl to fire over.

Moller Kuhl had earlier seen her shot hit the outside of the post when it was goalless but United, with Lucia Garcia at the heart of everything positive for them down the left and with Geyse a threat on the opposite wing, have been the better team since falling behind.

A ripple of boos from the home fans at the whistle, but United are still well in this. Everton goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan has shown assured handling and made an excellent save late in the half to keep out Geyse's powerful strike.

Will Brosnan be able to keep on to her clean sheet and help Everton leave with what would be an excellent victory?

I really don’t know what’s happened with Utd women as they’re a shadow of last season's side, it’s probably the worst I’ve seen them play this 45
