The patience that Celtic have shown has paid off for them.

This afternoon, their final ball has really been lacking, though.

  6. Your goal or mine?published at 13:20 British Summer Time 31 March

    Livingston 0-1 Celtic

This was the goal. A bit of a scrappy one I think it's fair to say.

It's an absolute shambles from Livingston's perspective. I think it's an own goal.

GOAL Livingston 0-1 Celticpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 31 March

    Jamie Brandon, own goal

The ball is in the net but it is not immediately obvious who got the last touch after Celtic's Reo Hatate got away a shot inside the six-yard box that ricocheted off a couple of players then crept over the line.

It looks like it might go down as a Jamie Brandon own goal after he rebounded Shamal George's save back towards goal.

There is now an unease emanating from the Celtic support as they enjoy their half-time pie. Despite having 77% possession they have been frustrated by a lack of creativity in front of goal.

David Martindale will be content at the break and who knows he may even feel they can nick a winner.

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 31 March

    HT: Livingston 0-0 Celtic

Probably the biggest talking point of the first half was this challenge by Livingston captain Mikey Devlin on Celtic forward Kyogo Furuhashi.

Celtic were looking for a penalty but nothing given.

  16. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Celticpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 31 March

The first half ends as it began - goal-less. Celtic have had the territory and the chances but have only forced one big save from Livingston goalkeeper Shamal George.

Livi have battled hard but already look drained. Attacks have been hard to come by for them but they are still in this one for now.

It was a great run from Kyogo and a really good strike.

What a save, Shamal George coming up trumps.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:50 British Summer Time 31 March

    Livingston 0-0 Celtic

Livingston goalkeeper Shamal George has had a relatively quiet first half but he has to be alert to keep out Kyogo Furuhashi's shot after the Celtic forward cut in from the right.

  19. ADDED TIMEpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 31 March

    Livingston 0-0 Celtic

Michael Nottingham makes a crucial intervention as Celtic press again. The clock ticks into added time, of which there will be three minutes.

  20. Postpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 31 March

    Livingston 0-0 Celtic

Tete Yengi is fouled as he tries to receive a pass out of defence by Livingston and that will give the hosts some respite as half-time nears.

The trouble for Livi is that Celtic can recycle the ball and go again quite quickly.
