If you missed it earlier, there was some serious drama as Bayer Leverkusen scored two late goals to avoid their first defeat of the season.

They beat Hoffenheim 2-1 to pull 13 points clear of Bayern Munich and edge closer to a first-ever Bundesliga title.

Leverkusen's 38-game unbeaten streak looked set to end when they found themselves 1-0 down with fewer than five minutes of normal time remaining.

Robert Andrich scored for the league leaders in the 88th minute to cancel out Maximilian Beier's opener.

The hosts' comeback was completed with a 91st-minute Patrik Schick winner.

Leverkusen were playing in their first match since managerXabi Alonso revealed he will stay at the club next season, ending speculation he would join Liverpool or Bayern Munich.

And the whistle goes for the end of the first-half.

They've had a few shaky moments but are standing firm for the most part.

I forgot Eric Dier was playing but he's so close to getting Bayern Munich back on level terms.

Joshua Kimmich's cross is headed across goal by Thomas Muller and Dier, arriving at the back post, can't make a clean contact to turn it in from a yard out.

There's a brief VAR check because Mats Hummels threw his leg up in the direction of Dier. It's deemed there wasn't any contact and the game will go on.

Dortmund let off the hook.

Musiala receives some treatment and has to leave the field for a moment but he's going to be OK to continue.

That's a nasty one.

Looking at the replay, Dortmund's Ryerson seems to rake his studs down the Achilles of Musiala.

There's no booking but a free-kick is awarded.

It definitely feels like there are more goals in this one. Bayern are desperate to get it sooner rather than later.

Leon Goretzka swings in a cross with four to aim for and Alexander Meyer is there to collect again.

Joishua Kimmich is in again down the right and his cut back finds Harry Kane just inside the box.
