    FT: Marseille 0-2 PSG

Confirmation that tonight's hard-earned win puts PSG 12 points clear once again at the top of Ligue 1.

Given their vastly superior goal difference, they need just nine points from their final seven games to clinch a 10th title in 12 seasons.

A matter of when, not if, surely.

FT: Real Madrid 2-0 Athletic Bilbao

Solid rather than spectacular is how that Madrid win will be filed. But, against the fourth-best team in La Liga, that tells its own story.

Athletic Bilbao have bigger fish to fry this week, though. The Basque club are aiming for their first major trophy since last winning the Spanish cup in 1984.

All over! Another successful night for Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, with Rodrygo's double enough to move them eight points clear of second-placed Barcelona.

Not sure Eder Militao has had a touch - or if he will get one.

There you go! One of the Madrid players, seemingly ordered to do it by Carlo Ancelotti, kicks the ball out and the biggest roar of the night goes up.

Not much more for Real Madrid to do in the final stages - apart from an emotional return for Eder Militao, it seems...

    Real Madrid 2-0 Athletic Bilbao

Feels like a good time to remind you that Madrid don't play again until they face Manchester City in the Champions League.

    That's in nine days.

Plenty of time to nurse those bumps and bruises, get those tactics finetuned at Valdebebas.

City, meanwhile, have two Premier League to squeeze in before that.

Jude Bellingham is sat on the floor and throwing his arms in the air with frustration.

That's international football language for 'why isn't that a peno, ref'?

He has got a point after being bundled over by Dani Vivian.

How about this for a trio to bring on for the final 10 minutes?

    Luka Modric.

    Eduardo Camavinga.

    Lucas Vasquez.

Alright for some. Off go Rodrygo - who the standing ovation is mainly aimed at - Toni Kroos and Fede Valverde.

    Marseille 0-2 PSG

A huge win for the Ligue 1 leaders, who played more than half the game with 10 men after Lucas Beraldo's controversial red card.

But second-half goals from Vitinha and Goncalo Ramos have re-established PSG's 12-point cushion at the top of the French top flight.

A big missed opportunity for Marseille, who have now lost 12 of their past meetings with their big rivals. They remain three points off the European qualification places.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 87 mins

    Marseille 0-2 PSG

Marseille almost halve their deficit immediately but Gianluigi Donnarumma makes a brilliant double save to smother Faris Moumbagna's first effort and then, while grounded, foil Amine Harit's follow-up.

And then another double save, denying Harit from an acute angle before fielding Ulisses Garcia's effort from distance.

The Italian keeper has had an excellent evening.
