  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 30 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Jack Butland keeps Rangers in the game with a fingertip save!

Matt O'Riley's header looked destined to hit the back of the net.

  2. 'Rangers living dangerously'published at 12:30 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

"This is not good enough", shouts a Rangers fan behind me, after watching Jack Butland make a good save to deny Daizen Maeda a second, and then seeing Reo Hatate whistle an effort just past the Englishman's right hand post.

So close to a Celtic second.

Rangers living dangerously at the moment, you feel, with the stadium uneasy and nervous.

  3. 'Celtic should be further ahead'published at 12:29 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on Sky Sports

You cannot give Hatate time and space to get his head up. He'll be disappointed he doesn't hit the target there.

Maeda has to hit the far corner there, also. Celtic should be further ahead.

  4. 'Big let off for Rangers'published at 12:29 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Stuart McCall
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Tavernier is caught too narrow. Maeda should do a lot better, he ends up hitting the middle of the goal and it's comfortable for Butland, right at him. Big let off for Rangers.

  5. CLOSE!published at 26 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Jack Butland has to push away a shot from Daizen Maeda, then Reo Hatate hammers one just wide from 20 yards.

Maeda had a lot of the goal to aim for and should maybe be doing better.

  6. 'Huge miss from Goldson'published at 12:27 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on Sky Sports

I do not know how he has missed that, Connor Goldson.

It's off his shoulder, he doesn't get a clean head on the ball. That's a poor miss.

  7. 'It comes off his shoulder'published at 12:27 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

An enormous chance for Rangers. He mis-heads it, it comes off his shoulder.

Joe Hart has got to come, it's only three or four yards out. He may have been blocked but he has to use his experience to get through the bodies. He's got to deal with it.

  8. CLOSE!published at 24 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

With the corner flag flapping in the fierce wind, Connor Goldson gets on the end of Mohamed Diomande's delivery but can't keep his header down.

A big chance from just a few yards out!

  9. Southgate casting an eye over Butlandpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

England boss Gareth Southgate is looking on.

He must be having a look at Jack Butland, who could do nothing to stop that early goal.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:22 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Nicolas Kuhn gets the first booking of the day for a jersey tug.

Referee John Beaton indicates it's not the first infringement from the Celtic winger.

  11. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

More unease in the stands as Jack Butland takes his time clearing very close to his own goal.

Kyogo was steaming in, trying to close down the Rangers keeper.

  12. 'Rangers fans a bit edgy'published at 12:19 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

Murmurings of discontent around me as I sit behind the Celtic dugout. The Rangers fans want more from their team and are understandably frustrated by the start their side has made, conceding so early and then mis-placing a few passes in the swirling conditions.

    Edgy stuff here so far.

  13. 'Celtic giving Rangers no time at the back'published at 12:18 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Stuart McCall
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Celtic are giving Rangers no time at the back. Goldson and Souttar are getting pressed high.

If they have a bit of composure, can they find Lawrence who is behind the Celtic midfield, or go over the top for Scott Wright?

  14. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Another scare for Rangers as Connor Goldson takes one too many touches and gets bundled over deep in his own half, but John Beaton blows for a foul.

  15. 'Maeda threat again'published at 12:15 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on Sky Sports

And there's that run from Daizen Maeda again.

If Kyogo had just made that run a second before... A great opportunity for Celtic.

  16. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Daizen Maeda scampers down the left and cracks a delivery across goal. Celtic team-mate Kyogo can't quite reach it though.

  17. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

Cameron Carter-Vickers gives another foul away. Celtic's captain for the day will need to be careful.

  18. Postpublished at 12:13 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

The team scoring first in this fixture has only lost four times in the last 46 meetings.

Celtic are also unbeaten in their last 13 at Ibrox after taking the lead.

    Ominous stats for Rangers fans.

  19. Postpublished at 10 mins

Now John Beaton does give his whistle a peep as Cameron Carter-Vickers clatters into Fabio Silva.

Just a warning for the Celtic defender.

  20. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Rangers 0-1 Celtic

It's getting a bit feisty now. Three sliding tackles in a row, bodies everywhere.

Referee John Beaton lets it all flow.
