"Must-win" and "can't lose"... It gives you a taste of the tension.

  3. 'Celtic can't lose'published at 11:18 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic captain & manager on Sky Sports

This game is enormous. These games are always pivotal in a title run-in.

Celtic can't get beat. If Rangers win, it puts them in a really good position.

Looking at the teams and the conditions, it's really hard to predict how this one is going to go.

Losing McGregor to the bench is a big, big blow for Celtic. We know the composure he brings to these games. Iwata is really going to have to stand up.

  4. 'Rangers must be brave'published at 11:15 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

    Kris Boyd
Former Rangers striker on Sky Sports

It's a must-win for Rangers. When you look at their record across the city, it's not great.

It's a great opportunity for Rangers today, but they'll have to perform today to get those three points. They need to be brave.

It's an interesting one that he's gone with Lawrence ahead of Cantwell, but I'm sure Philippe Clement knows what he is doing.

  5. Rodgers 'comfortable' with 'top referee' Beatonpublished at 11:12 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

Referees are always under intense scrutiny in these fixtures.

Today, the levels are just that bit higher.

John Beaton is the man in the middle and Brendan Rodgers has just served a one-match ban for his criticism of guess who?

The Celtic boss was not at all happy with Beaton's VAR performance in their recent loss at Hearts, but insists he has no issue with the choice of whistler at Ibrox.

"These games are for the top referees and I’ve always said that John Beaton is one of the top referees in the country," stressed Rodgers on Friday

"He’s been allocated the game, I’m comfortable with that."

Celtic go with the same starting XI that won 3-0 away to Livingston, with captain Callum McGregor on the bench as he returns from an Achilles problem.

The Scotland midfielder has missed the last four matches and is not risked from the start.

  9. Massive derby day at Ibroxpublished at 11:00 British Summer Time 7 April

    Rangers v Celtic (12:00)

I know. I know. We always give these games the big build up, but this Old Firm derby really is colossal.

With the finish line on the horizon, Celtic visit Ibrox one point ahead at the top of the Premiership, having played a game more than Rangers.

The title race has not been this close in a long time.

It won't be settled today, but we could get a significant momentum shift.
