Goals at Luton. Penalties in Scotland.

Not much to report in Sheffield.

A draw would do neither side any favours.

  2. 'A stunning finish'published at 15:27 British Summer Time 20 April

    Luton 0-1 Brentford

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is a stunning finish, it really is. It's well-worked. A lovely touch from Mbuemo off the initial ball. Mbuemo is free on the right side and he plays a beautifully weighted through ball. It's a great finish, 18 yards out on the edge of the box. Kaminski had no chance. It whistled in from Wissa.

GOAL - Luton 0-1 Brentfordpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 20 April

    Yoane Wissa (24 mins)

A super goal which had been coming!

Bryan Mbeumo gets on the ball between the lines, he's given far too much space and picks out a perfect pass forward for Yoane Wissa.

Wissa's still got loads to do, taking his shot first time and curling his effort magnificently into the top corner.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Burnley

    That's a chance for Burnley.

They break in numbers with Sande Berge carrying the ball from midfield and he has options right and left.

He takes too long to release the ball, however, and in the end Jacob Bruun Larsen can't even get on the end of his pass.

Never thought I’d love Luton this much. What a fight from the club. I’d really want them to win out and stay up if not for being a Forest fan, so instead I’ll just sit here wishing them the worst.

It's all Brentford. They have a goalmouth scramble from a corner but Luton manage to stab the ball away.

  7. 'Brilliant from Kaminski'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 20 April

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a brilliant piece of goalkeeping from Kaminski to keep that out.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 20 April

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

A super save from Luton keeper Thomas Kaminski. Surely Luton's player of the season.

Alfie Doughty's wide free-kick is easily cleared and Brentford race down the left before launching a ball into the box which Keane Lewis-Potter meets with a towering header, forcing a brilliant save from Kaminski.

The ball was behind the Belgian. He got a big hand to it to scoop it away.

  9. 'A daft challenge'published at 15:21 British Summer Time 20 April

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a daft challenge from Ajer on Chong and that allows Luton to get a ball into the box. Mengi and Osho have gone forward, we know how good they can be at set-pieces.

If only one of Toney and Watkins gets a seat on the plane, as many are suggesting, it seems pretty clear that Toney’s Euro 2024 chances are over… Watkins is in the golden boot race and has just got to a European semi final whereas Toney’s not even fit enough to be on the Brentford bench… it’s done!

Now Burnley have their first real chance.

Lyle Foster has a pop from the edge of the box and a deflection almost wrong foots Ivo Grbic in the Sheffield United net but he manages to save.

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

Sergio Reguilon is very dramatic going to ground after appearing to be caught by Jordan Clark.

The referee doesn't see it that way though and gives Luton a free-kick for diving.

    Reguilon doesn't complain.

Did any fellow Toffees ever think a year ago we'd be cheering on Brentford to beat Luton?

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

Luton are starting to build things. Tahith Chong's cross is blocked but the ball falls straight to Alfie Doughty who blasts a shot straight at Brentford keeper Mark Flekken.

Easy save, but a promising sign for the hosts.

Burnley have settled in to a decent rhythm as they pass the ball around. Sander Berge is still getting booed every time he touches the ball.

The Norway international almost manages to squeeze a pass through on the edge of the box.

  20. 'Lewis-Potter has to score'published at 15:11 British Summer Time 20 April

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lewis-Potter has got to score there. It's a wonderful opportunity. Initially, it was careless play from Wissa to give away the ball. Lewis-Potter lets the ball run across his body, but I think he waits too long. Luton get away with one.
