As it stands, Liverpool are going back above defending champions Manchester City and joint top of the Premier League with Arsenal.
The Gunners are eight goals better off in terms of goal difference, but just one more Liverpool goal would put them level with City - should the title race come down to that of course.
City have a game in hand and the joint-leaders both have another league match before the Blues play again in the league - at Brighton on Thursday.

Liverpool were already set to make some changes of their own, and now on come Alexis Mac Allister, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez for Ryan Gravenberch, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota.
Not a bad trio to bring on straight after going two goals up.

Liverpool work the ball up their left side but it's far to easy for them as Cody Gakpo plays in Diogo Jota down the channel before the Portugal forward hits a low strike beyond the reach of Bernd Leno and inside the far post.

Ryan Gravenberch's confidence is up right now. Fulham gift Liverpool possession again and the Dutchman tries to set up another strike from outside the box but Fulham make a challenge just as he's about to pull the trigger and the ball goes through to keeper Bernd Leno.
