  1. 'The deduction derby'published at 13:11 British Summer Time 21 April

Everton v Nottingham Forest (13:30 BST)

This game could be dubbed 'the deduction derby' and it's hard to know what to expect from either team.

I had Everton down to get a draw at Chelsea last time out, so I was only six goals out.

The questions here are whether Sean Dyche's side are going to respond to that heavy defeat, and also whether Toffees striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is going to be fit?

Without him, Everton do lack a bit of bite. Beto missed a chance from three yards out on Monday that reminded me of me, in the days when I played for Chelsea and was even missing when I was stood inside the goal.

Nottingham Forest are hardly in great form either, with one win in nine games, so the safest thing here would be to go for a draw.

I am not going to do that, though. It's a big game at the bottom and I think there will be a winner... and I am going for Everton to sneak it, on the basis that they will show some anger after losing 6-0.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Strange thing is modern football. At one time a six-pointer between teams at the bottom used to be about the match, now it could just as easily be about accountancy.

Nuno Espirito Santo says the uncertainty over Nottingham Forest's Premier League fate is having a detrimental impact on his players.

Forest have appealed against a four-point deduction for breaching profit and sustainability rules.

"When you are playing the season and you get this issue things become much harder because of the uncertainty, how it disturbs the whole harmony of the squad," the Forest boss said.

"We don't know how many points we have because we still have an appeal. Maybe we get the four points back and everything changes.

"This becomes a problem, because you are working with something you can't control."

Everton and Nottingham Forest are hovering dangerously above the relegation zone.

Their fight for survival hasn't been helped by points deductions for breaches of Premier League financial rules.

Both sides face a nervous wait to see whether they are successful in appealing against those deductions.

The Toffees had a 10-point deduction reduced to six on appeal in February for the three-year period to 2021-22 and on Monday, the club lodged an appeal against against their second points deduction of two points.

Meanwhile, Forest's appeal against their four-point punishment will be held on Wednesday.

From one side of Merseyside to the other.

Sean Dyche has said the Everton job "is not easy" and it has been a "really tough spell" following a poor run of form and a series of points deductions.

"When I got the job, none of this was coming so it has been a real handler for me," Dyche told BBC Sport earlier this week.

"I have to rebalance myself, no-one warned me about points deductions. I take it on the chin and move forward."

    On Mo Salah...

If it's a case that if he's not fully-fit then do you start someone else?

But, with the season you can see the finish line. Jurgen Klopp will want to put out a side that can be as strong as it can be.

Some of the chances he is missing is uncharacteristic.

Klopp gets to see Salah in training. We see him on match day. Based on form and confidence it's time he was dropped. He's nowhere near fit and no longer performs his defensive duties. He simply hasn't recovered from the AFCON injury - this is no time for loyalty.

There is probably going to be one side that wins all their games till the end of the season so Liverpool cannot afford to drop points again.

Liverpool have the chance to leapfrog Manchester City in the table today, with Pep Guardiola's side on FA Cup duty this weekend.

It's been a tough couple of weeks for the Reds, losing last weekend's Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at Anfield before being dumped out of the Europa League by Atalanta.

"We've got a month left and we need to give it everything," Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold said.

"That's what we are going to do, we are going to throw everything at it and try to do all that we can.

"We know it's not in our hands any more but we need to be as good as possible and just be in the best position we can to capitalise if teams do slip up."

Can Jurgen Klopp's side turn things around against Fulham this afternoon?

Everton v Nottingham Forest (13:30 BST)

Everton boss Sean Dyche has responded to Monday's 6-0 hammering by Chelsea by making four changes from the side humbled at Stamford Bridge.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Idrissa Gueye return after recovering from injury, while Jack Harrison and Andre Gomes also come back in to the starting XI. Jarrad Branthwaite has shaken off a knock but Seamus Coleman misses out with a groin problem.

Everton XI: Pickford, Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, McNeil, Andre Gomes, Gueye, Harrison, Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Joao Virginia, Keane, Godfrey, Warrington, Onana, Garner, Beto, Chermiti, Danjuma.

Nottingham Forest XI: Sels, Williams, Niakhate, Murillo, Aina, Danilo, Reyna, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Dominguez, Wood.
