    Manchester City 2-0 West Ham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

From a contest point of view, this isn't great. From an execution point, it's a carbon copy. Beautiful hold-up play from Khadija Shaw, she just shoves her defender off her and finishes into the top corner. This is disastrous from West Ham. Two shots, two goals, clinical. That is why Man City are top of the league.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester City

Free kick to Arsenal, around 30 yards out from the Leicester goal in a promising central location.

Katie McCabe has a pop, but Liza Kop gets her body behind it and makes an easy save.

    Manchester City 2-0 West Ham

Nervy moment at the back for West Ham as goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold plays a pass short from the back and Manchester City pounce.

She atones for her error though, diving low to smother the driven shot from Khadija Shaw.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester City

Alessia Russo and Stina Blackstenius are starting together for Arsenal today - a partnership which looked good in hammering Bristol City last week.

But they haven't managed to produce anything thus far.

    Manchester City 2-0 West Ham

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

This has been what Manchester City have been so good at. Jess Park has been unplayable at times but look at the gaps. It's the simplest of starts. West Ham are asleep.

    Manchester City 2-0 West Ham

West Ham headed into this match knowing a win would secure their top flight status for another season. But even the most optimistic Hammers fan would likely not see a way back for their side now, and we've barely played five minutes in Manchester!

Katie McCabe looks to fire up a response from her side, her cross from the left is whipped off the head of Beth Mead.

    Adam Millington
    BBC Sport at Joie Stadium

Manchester City need goals if they're to beat Chelsea's goal difference in the title race.

This is exactly the start they will have wanted.

A cross comes in from the left-hand side and Khadija Shaw rifles it into the top corner. That's exactly the sort of finish you expect from the league's top scorer.

City have two in three minutes. I'd barely processed the first.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 19 mins

    Leicester are on top here!

Yuka Momiki lets fly from 30 yards. and Manuela Zinsberger goes full length to her left to palm the shot away.

    It's two!

Another clever bit of wide play, this time from Lauren Hemp down the left.

Her cross into the middle is chested down by Khadija Shaw, before the forward turns and fires the ball into the top corner.

    Wow, just wow.

    What a start!

Jess Park has been excellent this season for Manchester City and she was crucial in the build-up to that goal.

Park and Laia Aleixandri combined on the right-hand side, she pulled the ball back into the middle of the box, and Leila Ouahabi drives home the opener.

    Leila Ouahabi (1 min)

Flying start from the title contenders!

Jess Park goes on a mazy run down the right hand side before cutting the ball back towards the penalty spot.

Leila Ouahabi finds herself in acres of space, and picks out the left hand top corner with a side footed finish.

Perfect start for the home side.

Leicester player stand stunned after another Arsenal goal.Image source, Getty Images

When Leicester hosted Arsenal in the reverse league fixture at King Power Stadium back in November, fans were treated to eight goals between the teams.

The hosts roared into a comfortable 2-0 first half lead, with Arsenal shellshocked and unable to cope with the clinical Foxes. But what followed in the second half simply incredible.

The Gunners turned on the afterburners, hitting six (yes SIX) goals without reply, each coming from a different goalscorer, to run out comfortable winners.

It's safe to say few games have ever suited the cliche 'game of two halves' more.

Here's hoping we get a similar level of excitement at the Emirates this afternoon...
