I've got to say that is deserved.

Chelsea had ten minutes at the start of the game where they were under pressure but since then they have fought, they have battled, the tactics have been superb. The belief has grown and grown.

When the ball fell to Erin Cuthbert she was so calm, held onto it and made space for the shot. Super effort, that is why I want to see her further forward.

Whatever Johanna Rytting Kaneryd had for breakfast this morning I am going to have it tomorrow! She is just incredible.

The work rate down that right side, she is just a terrier, keeps on running and running.

The longer this half is going on, the better Chesea are getting. Mayra Ramirez's movement is causing problems in behind, Lauren James is getting more involved and Melanie Leupolz is working hard in midfield.

Someone has just described it as a "chess match" in the media box and they are spot on. It's fascinating. Can't take your eyes off it!

Barca boss Jonatan Giraldez, who is 32 but looks about half that age, is told off for straying out of his technical area.

His side are really being tested today.

A really good move by Chelsea - Mayra Ramirez is set free by a sliderule pass from Melanie Leupolz, before she knocks the ball to Lauren James whose shot is blocked.

The corner is swirling, but Barca keeper Cata Coll is fouled.

Chelsea are being very sensible and controlled in the way that they have played this game so far.

Of course everything changes if you score a goal but you would like them to try at some point to get the likes of Lauren James or Mayra Ramirez in the final third, one on one with the Barcelona defence.

Barcelona, in Liga F, have won 22 of 23 matches this season while scoring 102 goals.

They are not used to being denied. But that is what Chelsea re doing so far.

Lauren James sends in a good cross from the left, agonisingly just in front of the flying Mayra Ramirez.

Barca look to break through the pacy Paralluelo, but she is blocked off. No foul given, much to the fury of the home fans.

Oops, Stephanie Frappart gets in the way of play, and the ball is returned to Barcelona by drop ball.

Erin Cuthbert, who was about to make a tackle, is unimpressed.

Chelsea have clearly working on set-pieces because that was a planned delivery from Erin Cuthbert to pick out Niamh Charles.

Charles probably should have gone for goal and she had her head in her hands afterwards, looking at Emma Hayes on the touchline as if to say "I know, I should have shot".

Hayes did a little dance on her feet in frustration but then applauded the delivery.

A free kick from deep is lofted towards Niamh Charles at the far post, but the ball is whipped off the defender's toe.

This has been an engaging 25 minutes or so of football, chances for both teams.

Lauren James hasn't been able to get on the ball in the final third yet. The times she has picked it up it has been from a two or three yard pass from the centre halves.

You know what Lauren is like though, when she does get it she has the capability to explode.

Kadeisha Buchanan knows how to win a Champions League, and has had a fine game in an intense atmosphere so far.

Salma Paralluelo runs at her, but the Canadian stands up, shepherds the Spaniard and makes a timely tackle.

By this point in the 2021 final, Chelsea were 3-0 down.

They are under pressure here, but unlike three years ago are standing up to it, and so far holding their own.

Mariona Caldentey sends in a dangerous cross from the left touchline, which is headed away right as Caroline Graham Hansen was about to apply the finish.

Aitana Bonmati then fires narrowly over the top.

Chelsea are starting to grow into it more now. Emma Hayes has gone for an interesting set-up with the back five but it's working so far.

There's space out wide when they can get it there and Hannah Hampton's distribution is important as she can bypass Barcelona's first line of press.

Hayes, in her smart blue suit, looks quite calm on the touchline.

That is absolutely amazing defending from Johanna Rytting Kaneryd [from Salma Paralluelo's shot].

We know she wants to be up the other end of the field attacking the other box but she knows she has a job to do back the other way today.

She absolutely flew back there to get the block in on the shot from Paralluelo.
