"Pushing the car back shows the inner racer in Alonso. He's wanting to get that car to the top of the hill, then it's downhill. Thankfully, he's got some help."

    Alonso pushing his car alone

Fernando Alonso's McLaren came to a halt on the approach to the pit lane. He fancies his chances of being able to push the car back by himself but, bless him, he's going nowhere fast. He does manage to gain a couple of feet before some marshals come to his aid and provide a much-needed helping hand. Cue cheers from the crowd as collectively they roll the car back.

He is among the first drivers to break the silence and head out with 11 minutes left of Q2, along with Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas.
