Well, we could well be in for quite a season finale tomorrow.

Both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton will be desperate to get that final win of the year, but then there is 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix winner Kimi Raikkonen, who is in a good position to challenge.

Don't discount Sebastian Vettel. He is down in 16th, who came through from a pitlane start to finish third in 2012, while Sergio Perez has been going well so far this weekend.

Plenty to watch out for and we'll be back 11:30 GMT. See you then.

Almost time for us to wrap things up. Watch out for qualifying highlights online, while there is already a video available about Fernando Alonso, and whether he could be about to take a year off F1. Watch that here.

What happened to Sebastian Vettel, who could only qualify 16th? Just a miscalculated lap it seems.

“We thought the lap I had was good enough, but in the end it wasn’t," he sai.d "It is possible to overtake, we have the speed but how much, we will see tomorrow.”

A bit more from Nico Rosberg, and what he can learn going into 2016: “Primarily, I would like to win the race because it is a great feeling and would give the whole crew a great end to the season and a reason to party. Of course, what we learn this year helps going into next year.”

Kimi Raikkonen, who qualified third: "The car has been handling pretty well all weekend. The laps have not been ideal, the first run was OK, but I knew there was room to improve. It was still a bit off what the other guys can do."

Lewis Hamilton, who qualified second: "I've been struggling with the car a little all weekend. We've been working hard to make some changes but Nico was just quick today and did a really good job in Q3."

The one to watch tomorrow? Kimi Raikkonen starts from third on the grid tomorrow. Only once in the previous six Abu Dhabi GPs has the race been won from pole.

Nico Rosberg, who secured pole position: "Before it was close in the other direction and now it's close in this direction. I am quicker at the moment and I am pleased about that and happy to be on pole again."

Nico Rosberg will begin the 2016 season just two short of Ayrton Senna's record run of pole positions from 1988-89.

If only the season was a couple of races longer. No-one has an answer to him in qualifying in 2015.

Seriously, where did that come from? There's been barely anything between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton throughout the weekend and suddenly Rosberg finds almost four tenths more than his team-mate. Stunning stuff.

How about that then? Nico Rosberg strikes again. He pulls a 1:40.237 out of the bag to beat Lewis Hamilton by three tenths of a second! Massive lap from the German.

Six consecutive pole positions for Rosberg now. Impressive stuff.
