Lewis Hamilton’s test is finished - he has handed the car over to Nico Rosberg this afternoon - and it’s fair to say he’s very pleased with Mercedes’ work. He said the reliability has been “incredible - I’ve never seen anything like it”. And he said the much-vaunted new nose, with fancy aerodynamic parts, is “an improvement, which is good. It’s always about small increments and that’s what it’s brought”.
The world champion is still not happy with the rule changes, though. He says he feels the new driver of the day award is “a pointless exercise” and on the new rules: “I don’t know what the other drivers want but I don’t care to be consulted about it. I just don’t think they are particularly special or will add to the spectacle for the fans and that’s what we’ve got to do.
"Definitely on race weekends, for example we are limited on tyres and engines so we do less running. When these people turn up and spend so much money to watch a test day they are sat there watching nothing for a period of time because we have no tyres. There are loads of things I just feel it’s to make headlines and all it does is cause everyone to talk about it, but it’s not going to make much difference."
No major changes to that timesheet since this morning, apart from the obvious addition of Nico Rosberg.
I've just noticed he got a time that is a touch faster than Lewis Hamilton's, before cracking on with building up his lap count.
He's done that on purpose hasn't he? The cheeky scamp.
Kimi Raikkonen 1:23.477 58 laps
Kevin Magnussen 1:25.263 94 laps
Max Verstappen 1:25.393 87 laps
Daniil Kvyat 1:25.900 67 laps
Felipe Nasr 1:26.053 68 laps
Nico Rosberg 1:26.212 25 laps
Lewis Hamilton 1:26.295 99 laps
Alfonso Celis 1:26.875 39 laps
Esteban Gutierrez 1:27.802 64 laps
Rio Haryanto 1:28.266 43 laps
Felipe Massa 1:28.684 33 laps
Fernando Alonso No time 3 laps

We're coming up to completing the first hour of the afternoon and still the McLaren remains in the garage. I'm starting to get a little worried that the comment below I made in jest this morning might actually come true.
Kevin Magnussen, Esteban Gutierrez and Nico Rosberg are all out on the circuit at the moment. No improvement in their best times so far, although Gutierrez is well into a race sim run.

Pirelli will be told to produce a tyre drivers can push to the limit in 2017 as Formula 1 bosses seek to make the sport more exciting.
The current tyres prevent drivers from racing flat out because they degrade quickly and need to be nursed.
Cars will be as much as five seconds a lap faster in 2017.

You are on form today.
Back on the track and Nico Rosberg has improved, climbing two places to eighth after a 1:26.212. He's also up to 15 laps.
Off the track, Renault are asking Jennie Gow the crucial questions in preparation for the season.
F1 journalist Dan Knutson in Barcelona: "Speaking of lookalikes, Team Renault’s transporter trucks – which are, naturally, Renaults, the T 520 Confort edition – are virtually identical triplets except for having different license plate numbers."
Esteban Gutierrez, on the hard tyre, is out on a race simulation run in the Haas.
Kevin Magnussen is also out on the track. He's got softs bolted on.
Vince Clutterbuck: More I look more I'm convinced one and the same
Arsene Wenger and Alain Prost. Whether or not they look-a-like doesn't ultimately matter. What does is the fact they both had magnificent hair.
Nico Rosberg is up and running with a 1:27.667, slotting in eighth fastest.
Daniil Kvyat went through some pretty hardcore training in preparation for the final day of testing.
I truly hope he did all this to the same music from a Rocky training montage...
Nico Rosberg, who has taken over from Lewis Hamilton for the afternoon, heads on out in the Mercedes.
He's got a target of 99 laps to beat and four hours to do it...
Lunch done already?
The track is open again, although no-one is in a rush to head out.
