His latest run on the soft tyres sees him clock a 1:23.622 to nip ahead of Kevn Magnussen.
It looks like for the second day in a row Mercedes will top the timesheet at lunch, although Hamilton's time is six tenths of a second slower than Nico Rosberg's from yesterday.

11:22 GMT 2 March 2016A bit of a surprise name at the top of the timesheet as lunchtime approaches, Kevin Magnussen has just gone fastest of all. He does have super-soft tyres on his Renault, helping him clock 1:23.933.
Lewis Hamilton has also switched to a softer compound, swapping mediums for softs, and is within a whisker of Magnussen's time with 1:23.967.
