15:40 GMT 3 March 2016No update from Haas yet to shed any light on what happened to Romain Grosjean.
A braking problem was behind his first off-track foray this morning but as to why he ended up in the gravel this aft? I'm none the wiser.

15:34 GMT 3 March 2016Fernando Alonso has been doing a race sim this afternoon, as Lewis Hamilton appears to have been but both have pitted so at the moment there's just Nico Hulkenberg, Felipe Massa, Max Verstappen and Felipe Nasr on the track.

15:27 GMT 3 March 2016Kimi Raikkonen surpasses 100 laps for the day and puts, that's his race simulation done and dusted.
Whether it was truly good, bad or indifferent, I think he'll have just one word for how that went...

15:11 GMT 3 March 2016It has been a while since I mentioned Lewis Hamilton. He's just nudged up a couple of places to 10th after a 1:26.488 on medium tyres.
Those cards could not be much closer to his chest.

Chief F1 writerForce India are a bit of a puzzle at the moment. They looked really strong in the first week, but have been much less obviously competitive this week. Applying the same fuel- and tyre-correction calculations - admittedly flawed, even if they are the best we can do - put them second fastest last week but way down in the second half of the grid this week so far.
However, Sergio Perez said after his running on Wednesday: “It was a good day, really promising. There is a lot of information around. I didn’t feel that comfortable with the car today, it was quite windy, especially in the afternoon. But still a very good day with plenty of information and I’m quite optimistic.”

14:52 GMT 3 March 2016It has taken a while, but it looks like Jolyon Palmer is about to get back out in the Renault.
Nico Hulkenberg has just made it 100 laps for the day in the Force India. Solid if unspectacular from them so far in testing.
