    It's an ever changing top of the leaderboard but Lewis Hamilton is on a stonking lap at the moment. Faultless stuff from the reigning champion and he is straight into P1 with a 1:14.056. That's the fastest lap of the weekend so far.

  2. Slow start to the session as Daniil Kvyat goes fastest with a 1:27.029.

    You come to Monaco, you know what you are going to face which is no margin for error. There aren't run-offs like in Spain or Silverstone - it's a case of what you see is what you get and the margins for error here are minuscule. Max Verstappen was hailed as a hero last time out. Don't forget he still is, however on this occasion it caught him out.

    Right now it's actually getting quite tight in there because the difference between being 'in' and 'not being in' only about a tenth of a second

  15. Kevin Magnussen is right on the edge at the moment. He is P16 and any improvement from Marcus Ericsson, Jolyon Palmer, Rio Haryanto or Pascal Wehrlein will put him in the drop zone.
