Lewis Hamilton is up to second! Nico Rosberg appears to move over and let his team-mate through heading up to Massenet. Now released, let's see what Hamilton can do.

Meanwhile. Felipe Nasr smashes through some debris left over from Kimi Raikkonen's damaged front wing inside the tunnel.
Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo is the fastest man on the circuit as he clocks a 1:37.561 and he has a lead of almost 10 seconds over Nico Rosberg.
Kimi Raikkonen has his front wing trapped under his front left but is limping round.
"What the BEEP was Kimi doing,"an angry Romain Grosjean asks. Not happy.

A mistake by Kimi Raikkonen. He brakes too late going into the hairpin, locks up and is into the barrier, leaving his front wing hanging off. He's determined to keep going, but in doing so blocks off Romain Grosjean and he too touches the wall.

We are back racing and Daniel Ricciardo works on building up his advantage at the front again as Lewis Hamilton looks to pounce on Nico Rosberg once again.

Jolyon Palmer has crashed into the barrier about 300 metres before the corner. The front of the car is destroyed - that's a pretty major impact.
Replays of the crash shows Jolyon Palmer losing rear traction coming up to Ste Devote, the car snaps left and into the barrier and he is left helpless as his heavily damaged Renault sails forward and into a barrier.
Kevin Magnussen pits for intermediates but the virtual safety car is now deployed as Magnussen's team-mate Jolyon Palmer has crashed at the first corner.
