Meanwhile, Jenson Button is doing that thing where you run for a bus and just miss it and pretend you never wanted to get on it in the first place.
He's heading back down the pits and is off for a cup of tea.

Perez's first recorded lap is 16 seconds down on the Mercedes.
Rosberg is the first man across the line - he sets as 1:29.9.
And what about Hamilton? My word, it's quick - 1:29.2! Zoom.

Stood among the spectators dressed in Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes attire at Abbey was what looked on initial glance to be a grid girl. In actual fact it was a bearded fellow named Matthew Earnshaw.
"Why?" I asked.
"Stag do," was his despondent response. His mates laughed, while my request for a photo drew curious glances from other fans. Who also laughed.
So, it seems that Kevin Magnussen was being investigated for possibly going wide on his fastest lap.
A minute into Q2 they decide he didn't and Jenson Button has to get back out of his car. Sad times for Jenson.
Second qualifying is go go go! Out heads Nico Rosberg.
Nobody still has any idea if Jenson Button is allowed to run.
It might be that one of Kevin Magnussen's times is being checked...
What's going on?
The official times show Button is in P17 and out.
But he's just jogged back to his car, put his helmet on and is back in his car for Q2. The crowd love it!
I assume he doesn't just want to watch Q2 from the seat of his car - you have to assume another driver's time was deleted...
Jeremiah Kariuki: McLaren set Jenson Button for exit in Q1. He should have been let out for a lap to improve his time.
John MacKenzie: What were McLaren thinking of? Are they nuts?
Chaundra: I can’t believe they ran that risk with Jenson Button. Gutted for him.
I have no idea why Jenson Button was sat in the garage watching the time board when he should have been out setting laps.
You would assume there was an issue...
Hold on, Jenson is putting his helmet on?!
Button, Palmer, Haryanto, Wehrlein, Nasr, Ericsson.
So that's two British drivers out in first qualifying, with Jolyon Palmer also in the elimination zone.
Jenson Button, who was in his car waiting for the possibility of going out in Q2, jumps out and wanders down the pit-lane.
He still gets a massive round of applause from the Silverstone crowd.
Kvyat has done it! He jumps up to P15, Button drops to P17 and he's out in first qualifying.
Awful news for McLaren and the home favourite.
Here comes Pascal Wehrlein. He's not quick enough to catch Button.
But Kvyat, in P17, still has a lap...
Magnussen goes quicker than Button.
The Briton is on the bubble...
Jenson Button is in P15, two places above the elimination point, and he's off track. Here'll be crossing everything that a late lap or two does not scupper him...
Mercedes don't need to head back out - they occupy P1 and P2.
Grosjean leaps out of the drop zone to put Palmer back in the mire. Magnussen, Haryanto, Nasr and Wehrlein are also there.
