The Mercedes pit wall will be very nervous. Now the pressure is really on Hamilton. Just the slightest of mistakes and he will have Rosberg right alongside him.
Frustration for Lewis Hamilton! He's run into traffic in the shape of Esteban Gutierrez but the Haas appears to be making no effort to let Hamilton by.
Eventually the race leader is able to get by, giving Gutierrez an angry wave as he does so.
That hold up has cost him some time as Rosberg pulls to within a second of his team-mate.
Kimi Raikkonen finally makes his second stop of the race and goes for another set of super softs. He's back out in sixth and is currently the fastest man on the circuit.

That was Jolyon's great opportunity to score a point and get some momentum back into his season. He has let it go.
Lap 50/70
Engineer to Max Verstappen: "Track limits at turn four, track limits at Turn Four."
Verstappen: "I know, I went wide but lost a lot of time."
Engineer: "That's two warnings now Max..."
One more and Verstappen will get a warning, one more after that and it's a penalty.

This is the only track on the calendar that Rosberg hasn't finished on the podium on - it's a bogey tack for him.
As we exited Turn One he was back in third so at least he managed to salvage second.
I think he will look back at this race as the place where he signed a new two-year deal with Mercedes and should get his first podium here. Rosberg, more than anyone, looks at the long game. Yes, he will be six points behind Hamilton but he has to look at the year as a whole, rather than race by race.
Lap 48/70
Jolyon Palmer is going well. He's promoted to 10th as Daniil Kvyat pits, but oh no! He spins at Turn 4 and although he manages to right himself and get going again, he is down to 14th.
Kimi Raikkonen is having a cracking race! Having started 14th, he's currently fourth and has done 18 laps on his super soft tyres. When he does stop, he should resume in sixth.
"Why were you not ready," complains Sergio Perez after that slow stop.
"Understood, Checo. Understood," is the reply.
Not the answer he was looking for. In fact, not an answer at all. You get the feeling everyone is too scared to say anything in case they get hit with a penalty.
A 1:26 from Lewis Hamilton allows Nico Rosberg to take a big bite out of his team-mate's lead. He's pulled the gap down from four seconds to 2.1s.

Jolyon Palmer is 11th with Daniil Kvyat in 10th still to stop. Palmer could be in the points before too long and it would be a fantastic result if he were able to do that.
Sergio Perez isn't going to the end of the race on mediums. He's just pitted and taken on softs but it's not the best of stops and he loses a couple of places to his rivals, returning to the circuit in 14th.
Yep, in goes Nico Rosberg. A straightforward stop and he is back out with a new set of softs and resumes in second. He's four seconds behind Lewis Hamilton, and 3.7s ahead of Daniel Ricciardo.
Hopefully it wasn't my words that sent her to sleep!
Lewis Hamilton makes his second stop of the race. Another set of softs on and he is back out in second, 8.4s ahead of Daniel Ricciardo. Nico Rosberg is, for the moment, the race leader, but he should be in soon...
Jane Fitzgerald: I presume Lewis is just toying with Rosberg and enjoying backing him into the Red Bulls.
Peter Cupit: Ricciardo has to make the tyres last until the end so he probably has to go fast but not too fast. Surely.
Great stop from Renault! Nico Hulkenberg pits from 11th, with Jolyon Palmer following in to pit from 12th but it is a super smooth stop for Palmer and he gets the jump on Hulkenberg.
Daniel Ricciardo the victim of another bad strategy call? He's over a second slower than the Mercedes pair.
Now Red Bull call Max Verstappen in, several laps after his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo stopped. He pops on some more softs and is back out in sixth.
