With that win Mercedes are confirmed as the 2016 constructors' champions.

Lewis Hamiton's move to overtake Max Verstappen doesn't come off and he tells the team radio: "Max moved under braking."

Hamilton really went for it into the chicane. He got a great run though 130R and was right on the back of the Red Bull into the braking zone.

He looked to the inside but Verstappen moved to cover.

Hamilton cut to the outside and sailed straight on at the corner. Didn't even attempt to turn.

He recovers to the circuit via the escape road but the chance of second place has gone.  

Verstappen again fends off Hamilton into Turn 1. 

The Mercedes man has one more chance to get this done and keep the damage of a Rosberg win to a minimum.

Lewis Hamilton just really needs to close up to Max Verstappen on the straight and get that all important trajectory to pass him.

You would now have to say, with three laps left, that Nico Rosberg is looking very comfortable even if Hamilton gets past Verstappen.

No change at the front.

Gaps stabilising all over the place. Rosberg looks safe, five seconds up the road. 

It's all about Verstappen v Hamilton. But will Hamilton decide discretion is the better part of valour?

Nico Rosberg is told Max Verstappen is just under five seconds behind him as he is being pushed by Lewis Hamilton.

The radio transmission finishes with a "be aware".

Lewis Hamilton's tyres have done five fewer laps than Max Verstappen's.

And we know Verstappen has been on the radio saying his tyres are going away.

He's within a second of Verstappen now. 

Watch for the pass coming into Turn 1.

"Start to pick up your pace and that will increase your grip," Max Verstappen is told over the Red Bull radio as Lewis Hamilton looms large in his mirrors. 

Verstappen has struggled through the traffic today and - along with Vettel - has been complaining an awful lot about it.

It's been a cruise for Nico Rosberg so far but he's told by his Mercedes team: "Front tyres dropping to the bottom of the window."

Hamilton has the gap to Verstappen down to 1.7secs.
