It's quiet on the track with four minutes to go. I doubt the top seven or eight will head back out, they've done enough to get through, but the rest of the field is preparing for another shot at getting into Q2.
Everyone has done at least one timed lap now and in danger are the two Estebans - Gutierrez and Ocon - and Pascal Wehrlein, Marcus Ericsson, Jenson Button and Felipe Nasr.
Speaking of Daniel Ricciardo, I've just spotted an excellent take on his 'shoey'. There's a fan, decked out in stars and stripes, sat with a shoe on their hat and coming out of the shoe and to their mouth is a straw.
Practical.
Lewis Hamilton is straight to the top of the timesheet with the fastest lap we have seen so far this weekend - a 1:36.296 and he leads Nico Rosberg by a tenth of a second. Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo are third and fourth quickest.
Plenty of you are giving your views on Formula 1's decision to outlaw moving under braking. Keep them coming...
The big guns are out on the track now. The Mercedes, Red Bulls and Ferraris are out on the super-softs.
It's blooming beautiful as the clock ticks down in this first part of qualifying. Sea blue skies above and happy faces in the stands. Contrast that to qualifying last year when it absolutely chucked it down.
Anyway, Pascal Wehrlein has got the first time on the board with a 1:39.319.
Pascal Wehrlein blasts out of the pits, super-soft boots on.
This promises to be a fascinating hour of qualifying.
It's under way.
There's plenty of celebrities knocking around now.
Actor Gerard Butler is having a right old chinwag with Christian Horner while over at Mercedes, tennis star Venus Williams is an interested spectator as Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton get ready for qualifying.

Excitement is building in Austin and not just because Formula 1 is in town. Taylor Swift is performing her first concert of 2016 at the circuit tonight.
To be fair, it's a good idea by the organisers to get American youngsters interested in F1.
Plenty of you have been backing Max Verstappen to not change his ways on Twitter but it seems he will have no choice.
The FIA has just confirmed in a release that drivers have been told that any change of direction under braking while defending positions could now result in a punishment being given.
An FIA note sent to teams said: "Any change of direction under braking which results in another driver having to take evasive action will be considered abnormal and hence potentially dangerous to other drivers. Any such move will be reported to the stewards."
It's been a good second half of the season for Daniel Ricciardo. He has been on the podium in five of the last seven races and took his first win of the year in Malaysia at the start of this month.
Will he keep it up this weekend? Who knows, I'm just looking for an excuse to use this picture and headline...
