Mercedes boss Toto Wolff tells BBC Radio 5 live: "For a spectacle, it is better to start on a normal grid but it (starting behind a safety car) is the right decision as there is a lot of water on the track.
"The mood is good in the team and there is some calmness."
Amit Mandalia: What's more dangerous? Standing start in these conditions or having half the field diving into the pits for inters when SC ends?
Benedict Salido: So almost all other drivers except Hamilton calls for a start behind the safety car. Great drivers can start both in dry or wet.
Not Telling: Urgh, safety car start. Supposedly the best drivers and cars in the world, and Whiting's too scared to let them race. Pathetic.
