The drivers are taking the opportunity to have a chat with their engineers. Felipe Massa has just ran past me on his way to the bathroom.

There is a element of people not knowing what to do and the drivers do not know what is going to happen next.

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo tells BBC Radio 5 live: "To be honest, the thing that was holding me back more than anything was the visibility as these new surfaces hold the water.

"I was sixth and I couldn't see anything. The track was not draining the water very well. Hopefully we will get back racing soon."

  8. Scary stuffpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 13 November 2016

The replays of Raikkonen's crash get scarier with every viewing.

His car snapped away from him halfway down the start-finish straight, hit the wall on the outside and then came back across track and stopped facing the wrong way near the pit wall.

Views from Raikkonen's cockpit showed cars bearing down on the Finn and missing him by a matter of feet - the Manor of Esteban Ocon, in particular, went very close to collecting the Ferrari.

Enough to even give the Iceman the heebie-jeebies.

"How many people do they want to crash, I nearly crashed into Kimi in the middle of the straight, I couldn't see anything."

As Raikkonen's front wing came off, it was clipped by Nico Hulkenberg and it flew into the air. It was a miracle that no-one hit Raikkonen. The Ferrari driver was just a passenger and lost control.

  20. Big impact for Ericssonpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 13 November 2016

Replays show Ericsson's accident was really quite a biggie. He clipped the white line on the inside of the track and after that was a passenger. A hefty impact with the barriers and he came to rest in the pit lane entry, giving those Red Bull cars and unexpected obstacle to navigate around.
