Russia will always have a special place in Valtteri Bottas' heart after taking his first win here.

The first of many? Never mind Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton may once again find himself battling with his team-mate for victories.

On to Barcelona next, with the Spanish Grand Prix in two weeks.

    See you then.

Just finishing a race in a McLaren must bring about a sense of euphoria. Will feel like a win given their troubles.

I would love to know what the euphoria of a first win in Formula 1 feels like, especially after 80 races without one.

Only thing I can compare it to is when I first finished Super Mario World. A momentous day.

The last time we saw two drivers from Finland on the podium? Back in 2008 at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Heikki Kovalainen won that race with Kimi Raikkonen third.

Lewis Hamilton, who finished fourth for Mercedes, has been speaking to Sky Sports.

"Big congrats to Valtteri. He did an exceptional job all weekend," he said. "I wish I could have backed him up in terms of points but I think i did the best I could today."

On his own lack of race pace, he added: "Once I got through the first couple of laps I was kind of stuck.

"Through the race I understood it. Speed-wise I know where it is and I will try to fix it for the next one."

Valtteri Bottas is a Grand Prix winner at the 81st attempt, the same number as Eddie Irvine had contested when won for the first time at the 1999 Australian Grand Prix.

Former Red Bull driver Mark Webber holds the all-time record for grands prix before winning, the Aussie racking up 130 of them before breaking his duck.
