This is Monaco. It can always happen.

Misfortune for one McLaren, but great news for the other as Jenson Button is into the top 10 shootout!
A shame about his 15-place grid penalty but great for Button nevertheless.

"Lewis held me up so badly," complains Kevin Magnussen, who is in the elimination zone himself.
Lewis Hamilton is really having to fight to control the Mercedes, the back end is all over the place as he takes corners.

On Hamilton's earlier wobble: I thought that was the commentators curse!
He lost the rear in exactly the same way that rookie Lance stroll did in P2.
I tell you he shook his hand in the driver's way to say: “that was close!”
Lewis Hamilton pits and is called into the weighbridge as he does so.
Meanwhile, the Red Bull-Ferrari tussle continues at the top of the timesheeet. Kimi Raikkonen leads the way but Max Verstappen is second, 0.008s behind the Ferrari.
A Haas has gone off the track at Sainte Devote, briefly prompting a flutter of the yellow flags.
Lewis Hamilton's first time in Q2 is a 1:14.106, putting him all the way down in 13th.
"Something is just not right with the car," he says.
Surely Hamilton's not going to go out in Q2... is he?
