Reece Young: Alonso is absolutely next level. Leading in his first attempt in Indy 500. He is driving incredibly.

It's fascinating to watch Fernando Alonso get up to speed so quickly. He sat back early on, didn't charge away and instead observed what others were doing. He's now sussed out his best modes of attack, highlighted by a brilliant move on Alexander Rossi where he tucked in behind him before moving out wide and attacking.
