Zubs: Can we say that McLaren will break the 1:20:00 barrier today? or is that the impossible dream.
Fructimactix F1: There's a better chance of the McLaren breaking down before 01:20:00 PM than anything else.
Stoffel Vandoorne was a busy man early doors, completing 28 laps in the first two hours of testing but since then we haven't seen much of the McLaren. Vandoorne has done just sx laps in the last 90 minutes...
F1 journalist Dan Knutson in Barcelona: "Unlike the last test, the Red Bull mechanics are not bothering to put screens around the car when the driver brings it into the pits. There must not be any new trick bits that need to be hidden on the RB13 today."
Go Felipe!
Massa leaps to the top of the order as he does a 1:19.726 on the supersofts. That's the second fastest time we've seen in the two tests so far in Barcelona, after Valtteri Bottas' 1:19.705 from last week.
Williams drivers past and present doing the business in Spain.
All right for some!
Half an hour until lunch and Daniel Ricciardo and Felipe Massa have strapped on a set of supersofts.
Ricciardo is fastest of all through the first sector but his lap falls away and he crosses the line with a 1:20.134, 0.57s down on his benchmark time.
Let's see what Massa has got on that rubber.
A note about tyres. Everyone has set their fastest laps on the softs apart from Sebastian Vettel (P4) and Pascal Wehlrein (P10). Their best times were set on mediums.
There's a lull on the track at the moment with everyone back at base. Early lunch? Time to crack out the cheese sandwhi... oh no wait, Esteban Ocon isn't hungry yet. Out he goes for a little run on his lonesome.
The Force India driver is 35 laps to the good so far with his best time a 1:23.691 - currently the eighth quickest of the morning.
If you are sat in an office looking out at a cloudy sky, or don't even have any windows nearby to look out of, then this picture won't help brighten your mood.
It's a beautiful day in Barcelona as lunch time approaches, with temperatures a warm but pleasant 16C.
Could we see the all-time fastest lap posted on the current layout of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya eclipsed this week?
It currently stands at 1:18.339s, set by Felipe Massa in 2008 testing. The fastest we've seen so far is 1:19.705, which Valtteri Bottas did during the first test.
Daniel Ricciardo's 1:20.077 is still the time to beat today.
F1 journalist Dan Knutson: " Pirelli held a news conference at its hospitality unit here at the track to announce some changes.
"On 15 March, motorsport director Paul Hembery will start his new position as the chief executive officer of Pirelli Latam. Pirelli’s Latin American region is its main market in the world.
"Hembery, however, will still maintain overall control of all of Pirelli’s motorsport activities. He will attend many F1 races this year.
"But all the responsibilities of motorsport, from F1 downwards, will be increasingly entrusted to racing manager Mario Isola, who is now head of car racing. Pirelli is involved in more than 220 car championships.
"'We wanted to ensure a continuity of the management of motorsport,' Isola said. 'Paul accepted to maintain the coordination of the motor sport activity. He has a huge experience and knowledge of motorsports. It will be very helpful to have him onboard.'"

What does Lewis Hamilton think about working with Valtteri Bottas? Well, to paraphrase Alan Partridge, it seems like he is convinced he his new best friend.
"I feel we already have a better working relationship than I ever had with any team-mate I had before," he said.
"What I so far like about working with Valtteri is that it is all to do with the track - what we do on the circuit - and not outside.
"There are no games - there is complete transparency. I like that."
Will it last?
Valtteri Bottas is hanging out trackside, getting a close look at the action before he hops into the Mercedes after lunch. Lewis Hamilton has one hour left in the car. He should bring up his half century of laps by then. He is on 38 at the moment.
Parth Meta: Mercedes are like absinthe.. Polished clean and shiny from the outside.. Fiery and fast from the inside
Erlinger Einarsson: McLaren are like whenever I cook. I do everything by the book, but the house fills with smoke and it smells bad and I never know why.
Big improvement from Felipe Massa as he does a 1:20.084 to move to within 0.007s of Daniel Ricciardo's time and then pits. Lewis Hamilton has also improved to join Ricciardo and Massa in the 1:20s as he does a 1:20.456.
