A mistake by Lewis Hamilton at Turn 5 hands Kimi Raikkonen a bit more breathing space. A second between the two now as we enter the closing stages.
What might have been for Max Verstappen. He continues to lap quicker than those around him and he is within four seconds of fourth-place Valtteri Bottas.
"Tyres are holding up. Just waiting for a mistake from them".
That sounds more like the Lewis Hamilton we know...
Lewis Hamilton has been granted five more laps to try and catch Kimi Raikkonen. Just four tenths of a second between the two now.
The Briton is reeling him in...
Latest times for the leaders:
1) Sebastian Vettel 1:22.421
2) Raikkonen 1:22.158
3) Hamilton 1:22.104
4) Bottas 1:23.270
5) Verstappen 1:20.862

Kimi Raikkononen looks like the man who has the pace to take this race if only he were allowed to overtake his team mate Vettel but it's not going to happen.
Ah! Kimi Raikkonen overcooks it down at Turn 1 and locks up as he tries to ramp up the pressure on Sebastian Vettel.
The gap has come down now, just a second between the two...
Lewis Hamilton takes a sixth tenths of a second sized chunk out of Kimi Raikkonen's advantage and he's now a second behind Kimi Raikkonen.
This is getting tense!
Sebastian Vettel picks it up a bit as he goes two tenths quicker than Kimi Raikkonen but the Ferraris are approaching traffic. There's 1.5 seconds between the two red cars.
Daniel Ricciardo isn't happy with team-mate Max Verstappen.
"Ok Lewis, we are going to have five laps to get past Kimi Raikkonen - five laps".
"No pressure then" says Hamilton.
Feeling a little jovial...?
Max Verstappen is the fastest man on the track - a 1:21.001 - and he moves to within seven seconds of Valtteri Bottas.
Sebastian Vettel is told to push and he responds with a 1:21.889. That's eight hundredths of a second slower than Kimi Raikkonen and two tenths slower than Lewis Hamilton...
Valtteri Bottas is informed Lewis Hamilton will let the Finn past if Hamilton cannot catch Kimi Raikkonen.
Teamwork.
So what do Ferrari do? Valtteri Bottas let his faster team-mate by but will Sebastian Vettel do likewise? Vettel leads Raikkonen by 1.2 seconds while Lewis Hamilton is the same distance behind the Finn.
And Lewis Hamilton is also tearing it up on the track. He's faster than Valtteri Bottas and Mercedes know it.
"OK Lewis, Valtteri will let you pass. The Ferraris are up ahead."
Bottas obliges and up goes Hamilton into third.
Max Verstappen is flying!
His latest lap is a 1:20.837 but he has a lot of time to make up. The Red Bull is 11 seconds behind fourth-place Valtteri Bottas.
Finally! We hear the voice of Lewis Hamilton as their communications come back.
"I have a lot of pace - let me use it. This radio stuff sucks! My last tyres were perfect, I could have kept going."
You can tell he hasn't been able to chat for a while...
