Valtteri Bottas, not mentioned him for a while. The Finn, who is just 19 points behind Lewis Hamilton in the drivers' championship, is P3, four tenths of a second down on Lewis Hamilton's time.

"Find me a gap," asks Lewis Hamilton, who has got himself stuck in a bit of traffic.
The gap is swiftly found and Hamilton goes quickest of all courtesy of a 1:46.439.
We're already well past Nico Rosberg's time of 1:48.348 in first practice last year.

Daniel Ricciardo improves his timesheet-topping time with a 1:46.656 but he's now got Kimi Raikkonen for company up there. The Ferrari man has just done a 1:46.931 on super-softs.

I think I speak for everyone that having Kimi Raikkonen around for another year is good for Formula 1.
The Finn signed a new deal at Ferrari that will see him remain at the team until at least the end of 2018.
