Bottas has just thrown up the fastest lap of the race so far. Where that one came from I have no idea...
Valtteri Bottas digs into his pace reserves to whack in the fastest lap of the race so far - a 1:48.616 - and that takes a half-a-second-sized bite out of Sebastian Vettel's advantage over him. The Finn is five seconds behind Vettel in third.
Lewis Hamilton isn't building up as big an advantage as he would like. He's currently 1.7s ahead of Sebastian Vettel. All to play for as we pass the halfway point of the race.
Felipe Massa has been the biggest mover on the track so far. He's gained five places and is currently loitering just outside the top 10 in 11th.
It is fair to say Fernando Alonso's radio messages have been the most entertaining thing about this race so far. Not one that will make the classics documentaries at the moment.

Lewis Hamilton is slowly pulling away from Sebastian Vettel with the gap up to 1.2 seconds between first and second.
Grosjean: "Carlos Sainz cut the corner - he must have gained an advantage. I would have DRS if he didn't."
Engineer: "Understood, we are reporting it now".
Kimi Raikkonen is not happy about his 10-second penalty."What do you mean? He was on the side of the road!" he says about Max Verstappen.
He comes in to serve his penalty, is back out in eighth and a bit more chipper.
"My car is actually really nice now," he says.
Lewis Hamilton is seven tenths of a second clear of Sebastian Vettel. There is nothing between them on their latest laps with Hamilton doing a 1:48.920 and Vettel a 1:48.917.

Fernando Alonso tells his team he wants "no more radio for the rest of the race!"
He's currently down in 15th.
A blow for Kimi Raikkonen. He is deemed not to have slowed down for the yellows when Max Verstappen retired and he is slapped with a 10 second stop/go penalty.
Lewis Hamilton's pace on the softs is concerning Ferrari. They pit Sebastian Vettel, hoping to get him back out on softs ahead of the Briton but they are not quick enough. Hamilton is second and then picks off Kimi Raikkonen coming out of Eau Rouge to reclaim the race lead.
Daniel Ricciardo pits from fifth, goes on to super-softs and retains his position when he heads back out.
Meanwhile, hammertime indeed because Lewis Hamilton is flying on those softs, closing in on second-place Kimi Raikkonen.

Hamilton has looked very comfortable on these soft tyres all weekend.
Being part of a team's pit crew is a high pressure role most of the time so I can't imagine how daredevil Guy Martin is feeling. This is first experience of it... but he nails it, getting the tyre on Felipe Massa's Williams with no drama.
