Jolyon Palmer's transponder has been playing up this afternoon and it has all become too much for the official timing computer, which has clearly decided the best way to deal with it is just to award him the win.

I think this should be allowed to stand. Hamilton has loads of wins.

That, stats fans, is Hamilton's 60th grand prix win.

Ricciardo comes across the line in second place for Red Bull, with the second Mercedes of Bottas in third place.

Fourth is Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz - his best ever result - with Sergio Perez in the Force India in fifth.

Renault's Jolyon Palmer also enjoys a career-best sixth place. Great for him on the weekend he learned he was being ditched by his team.

I am hearing there might be a problem with Daniel Ricciardo. There is a suggestion of a brake issue but that isn't being confirmed by the team yet.

Lewis Hamilton is dominating and I think Mercedes must have found something overnight. Bottas pace is indicative that Mercedes have found something because Bottas was miles off Hamilton yet his pace is competitive now.
