Verstappen - it was not a racing incidentpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 17 September 2017
14:34 BST 17 September 2017Max Verstappen, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think mainly Sebastian started squeezing me. Maybe he did not see Kimi on the left but that is not an excuse. He shouldn't take those risks. Lewis is leading the race and the three of us are out.
"I don't think it was a racing incident. Three cars were taken out and I was in the middle not doing anything wrong. We will see what happens."

14:31 BST 17 September 2017Meanwhile, they still haven't moved that Sauber from the Anderson Bridge...
They are having to wait before all the cars are lined up behind the safety car so they can access Ericsson's stricken car on what is a very narrow piece of circuit.

BBC Radio 5 live commentatorThat's a really frustrating moment for Nico Hulkenberg. With this safety car he would have been right up on Valtteri Bottas. Now, if he gets going again, he will be at the back of the field.

14:31 BST 17 September 2017I think this more or less confirms that we won't see 61 laps being completed in this race. We'll be going to the two-hour time limit.

14:29 BST 17 September 2017Problem for Hulkenberg!
The Renault team have a line running to the car and it looks like they are topping up his hydraulics.
Disaster for the German driver and the team.

I've absolutely no idea how you would begin to do that, but the Sauber man has.

BBC Radio 5 live commentatorI think Daniel Ricciardo thinks Lewis Hamilton's tyres are going to let go and in the final five to 10 laps Ricciardo will come on song and challenge Hamilton.

14:26 BST 17 September 2017Hamilton and Ricciardo are now lapping in the 1:47s.
Remember the pole time was a 1:39 so we are still a long way off the potential of these cars.

14:25 BST 17 September 2017A reminder that there is a two-hour limit on this race and it's going to be touch and go as to which comes first. There's a little over half an hour on the race clock, and we're on lap 37 of 61.
