    Jennifer Harris: Re: school trip (see 20:25 BST). School to circuit 2 1/2 hours. That's just a teacher getting a free GP w/e by taking students on an educational trip.

    I think a few teachers might be trying this one next July.

    Valtteri Bottas has opted for the ultra-softs and it is a wise decision. His time of 1:35.596 is now the benchmark for everyone else. It is half a second better than previous leader Daniel Ricciardo's best effort.

    It has been a good session so far for the two Red Bulls. Verstappen and Ricciardo have been swapping the lead, and now it is the Australian who is the quickest again. The Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas are third and fifth, with Kimi Raikkonen the man in the middle.
