Fair play to Sebastian Vettel. He is not giving up. He was pushing as hard as he possibly could.
Verstappen leads. He started 16th. OK, he hasn't stopped, but still it is an incredible achievement.
"Why did you guys let him go so close," asks Lewis Hamilton as he has to hold off the challenge of Sebastian Vettel immediately after leaving the pit lane.

These are the sad images that show the demise of Daniel Ricciardo because of engine failure.
Kimi Raikkonen currently leads, Max Verstappen second (after starting 16th) but neither man has stopped so far.
Hamilton just about comes out of the pits in front of Sebastian Vettel. Could that be one of the key moments of this race?

This is Vettel's one chance.
And in comes Hamilton in to the pits.
"It would be nice to know what strategy we are doing," asks a bemused Fernando Alonso to his McLaren team.

It is interesting that Sebastian Vettel has come out on the soft tyre. Pirelli have been alluding to the fact that a one-stop race was possible.
I wonder if that is what Vettel will attempt to do. He has stopped quite early but Ferrari might be trying something different with their strategy.
They have no answer to the pace of Mercedes.
The cameras spot a very downhearted Daniel Ricciardo trudging back to the garage after having to retire because of an engine failure.
We also then see the distraught reaction of the Red Bull garage at the moment Ricciardo's race ends.
"Tyres are good, I can extend," says our race leader Lewis Hamilton. None of the top four have had a pit stop just yet.
It was quite a start. First blood to Sebastian Vettel at turn one but it didn't take long for Lewis Hamilton to strike back...

Retiring, probably...
For the other things that annoy him, listen to this interview with BBC Sport from earlier this week.
Daniel Ricciardo is off the road and going slowly. He drives off on to the grass and it is all over.
"Engine's gone," he says. He has only just come back after a pit stop and it is game over for the exciting Australian, who had been involved in some of the most exciting moments of the race so far.
Verstappen, who earlier this week signed a new contract to keep him at Red Bull until 2020, is now fifth. He started 16th. Incredible stuff from the Dutchman.
Esteban Ocon is in sixth, a place he finished in in Japan. Fernando Alonso is currently seventh, aiming for only his third points finish of the season.
