McLaren’s hopes of starting the Formula 1 season close to the front have been hit by the latest in a series of problems in pre-season testing.
The car, with Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne at the wheel, broke down three times on the first day of the final test in Barcelona.
The first two failures were an electrical shutdown caused by a battery problem, the third a loss of hydraulic pressure.
McLaren completed the fewest laps of any team and Vandoorne was 12th fastest of the 13 drivers taking part on Tuesday.

Sebastian Vettel finishes fastest with a time of 1:20.396.
Lewis Hamilton has the fourth quickest time (1:20.808) while there were more problems for McLaren after twice bringing out the red flag.
Five minutes to go and the track is pretty busy with everyone who is running in the afternoon out there apart from Stoffel Vandoorne and Pierre Gasly.

Stoo G: Random stats department: if Hamilton or Vettel wins the 2018 World Championship, we will definitely have the fewest ever different World Champions in one decade (current record five, there would only be room for one more in 2019 to make it four in the 2010s).
Carlos Sainz produces a personal best with 1:21.455 on softs to move up to eighth. That also puts him one place and 0.023s behind his Renault team-mate Nico Hulkenberg.
Max Verstappen brought out the third red flag of the day a couple of hours ago after coming to a stop but Red Bull have managed to get him back out for the final 15 minutes of the session.
No sign of similar movement at McLaren...
With the highs come the lows.
For every champion celebrating on the podium, there must be a driver and team who's season didn't quite go to plan.
Are McLaren destined for more bad luck in 2018?
Will the new kids on the block be a permanent fixture at the back of the grid?
It's a tough one but pick who you think will finish bottom of the pile this season here.
Toro Rosso have had a very good morning with Pierre Gasly completing 53 laps and clocking what was then the fourth quickest time with 1:20.973.
The afternoon hasn't been so good, however. Gasly popped out for a solitary lap but has been in the garage ever since.

That's what I keep telling my bosses!
It's time for another round of pre-season predictions.
Will Lewis Hamilton claim his fifth drivers' championship title?

Apologies for the odd analogy there. It is usually at this point - in the ninth hour of continuous writing about testing - that I start babbling somewhat incoherently.
Marcus Ericsson is the latest member of the 100 club. He can now head over to V.I.P area and have a natter with Max Verstappen (114) and Sebastian Vettel (151).

No stopping Sebastian Vettel as he continues to hammer the lap counter. He's up to 146 for the day.
Best time (so far) and most laps completed, very productive day for Ferrari.
Forty five minutes remaining and no sign of either the McLaren or the Red Bull, which brought out this afternoon's two red flags.
If Stoffel Vandoorne doesn't get back out then McLaren will finish the day with the fewest laps completed - 38.
