Ten laps to go, this is the time for anyone with any juice left in the tyres to go for it. There is no point finishing this race with loads of rubber left on the tyre and a bit of a safety margin.

Simon Rossi: Can you PLEASE tell Williams for the next race to promote Robert Kubica. Can not get any worse then this!

Vettel is still right behind Daniel Ricciardo, ready to pounce on any error from our leader.

Max Verstappen has been in the wall so much this year, he has had a scrappy start to the year. He has had a good race today but to get seventh or eighth he is going to have to get aggressive and that radio message has probably just calmed him down.

Red Bull to Max Verstappen: "Make sure any future overtakes are kept clean please mate."

Renault to Nico Hulkenberg: "OK, Verstappen is going to be on your tail very shortly."

This, by the way, is Red Bull's 250th race in Formula 1. At the moment it is going to be a memorable one.

Daniel Ricciardo has won six times in his career. He will be trying to not allow himself thoughts of this being number seven as he has a lot more work to do.

• Pole sitter Daniel Ricciardo leads Sebastian Vettel by half a second.
• However, Ricciardo has reported "no power" and Red Bull have no way to fix it for him.
• Max Verstappen up to ninth after starting last. He is on hyper-softs.
• Lewis Hamilton third, 3.2 seconds behind Ricciardo.
• Fernando Alonso has retired with a gearbox issue

It started Ricciardo, Vettel, Hamilton, Raikkonen and Bottas. It still is.

Another pit stop for Lance Stoll, who is two laps down and going through the motions in 19th and the last of those running.

Fernando Alonso is the only man not out there any more after retiring with a gearbox issue on lap 53.

It looks and sounds very boring at the front - it is - but this is a great race by Daniel Ricciardo. He is hobbling around but managing it very well. Still under pressure, but doing a great controlled job.

This must be a mentally draining race for Daniel Ricciardo. But he is still there, out in front, only just.

Esteban Ocon is currently sixth after only picking up one point from the opening five races of the season. Pierre Gasly, fourth in Bahrain, is heading for more points in seventh. Both Renaults are in the points with Nico Hulkenberg eighth and Carlos Sainz 10th, with Max Verstappen sandwiched in the middle.

"I can't keep the same pace as the race leaders," says Lewis Hamilton.

"Copy Lewis, no need to," he is told.

Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz are having an epic battle for ninth. Sainz cuts a chicane, before Verstappen does likewise as the pair go wheel-to-wheel. One for the stewards to look at.

Anyway, Verstappen is now ninth and up to two points.

Sebastian Vettel is back within a second of the leader. Flawless though from the Australian Daniel Ricciardo to leave the German frustrated once more.
