Amit Mandalia: I’m absolutely loving how confusing this Qualifying session is! & it’s not even the middle of Q2 yet!

With Max Verstappen's slippery ride just now (he went off the track but came back on to it), are all the other teams going to switch to wet tyres?
Sebastian Vettel at least has a time on the board. 1:28.636 for him, everyone else has had to change their tyres.
Hamilton's team radio: "We think there may be rain in the last sector, we will keep you updated."
Max Verstappen has slid off at turn 12. That Ferrari decision to put Vettel on the intermediates, may have actually been a moment of genius.
Fifteen minutes. Ten advance, five disappear. Once again, everyone gets out straight away. Sebastian Vettel is the only man to have gone out on intermediates. Ultrasofts for everyone else.
Will that prove costly for the German?

Those threats of thunder and lightening are close by which is worrying... it's raining and building slowly from turn 12/13 and it is getting progressively worse.
The last time Kimi Raikkonen did not get into Q3 came in this race two years ago, when he qualified 14th on the Saturday, but finished sixth on the Sunday.
Remember, the top 10 from Q2 move into the third section of qualifying.
Daniel Ricciardo would have expected to be much higher up this table, but he stays in and that is all that matters.
Daniel Ricciardo survives a scare. He finishes 12th. At the front was Sebastian Vettel then Max Verstappen, Valtteri Bottas, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.
Carlos Sainz, Romain Grosjean, Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso and Kevin Magnussen make it into the top 10.
Just when you thought Force India's day could not get any worse.
Ricciardo now up to 11th, but we are still in action.

It's going to be really tight for Daniel Ricciardo in 13th. He's still improving on this lap so there still could be chance.
Ricciardo up to 13th, but others still out there.
Ricciardo, Perez, Ocon, Stroll and Sirotkin need to improve or they are out.
Ricciardo back in the bottom five. 90 seconds left.
Hamilton now fastest. Changes every second.
Raikkonen now fastest. Can we have rain at every qualifying?
