Eric Johnson: I wonder if Fangio has a team of strategists, or did he just stroke the wheels of his car, and look to see if he could spot any rain clouds?
Karen Waddy: Anyone else doing a rain dance right now?
Jeremiah Kariuki: Verstappen was hoping for a podium. It is now possible for a win.

Verstappen has phenomenal pace in this race, and he still has tyre life left, so it's looking pretty good for him.
Terrible pitstop by McLaren for Alonso. He swaps the softs for the mediums, but it takes about 3-4 seconds.
Wheel to wheel with Fernando Alonso, and he just edges slightly further forward. Alonso stays out of trouble by swerving out of the way, but Ocon takes his position.

I don't think it's a case of Mercedes saving their tyres. I just don't think they have the pace. Bottas is struggling. Raikkonen is right behind him. He was defdning against Verstappen before, and now he's defending against Raikkonen, and neither is doing his rear tyres any good.

Next attack on Bottas is by Kimi Raikkonen, he tries on the outside of the corner, but doesn't quite make it. Bottas holds his third place.
Verstappen makes a move on Bottas, and slithers ahead of him into second.
For those who listened to the Chequered Flag Qualifying Review podcast with our lovely commentary team. Jack Nicholls predicted that Verstappen could win, and it's starting to look that way.

Hamilton is aware of Verstappen's imminent threat in the Red Bull. This is not a nice place for Bottas to be right now, checking his mirrors all the time.

Simon Baker: The term greatest driver of all time is over simplified and overblown, F1 of today is a very different beast from how it was when it started in 1950. As a result, conclusively saying so is impossible.
Syco: Ayrton.
The two Renault drivers brushed tyres a little... But no dramas yet.
