Engineer: "Can you go quicker, can you go quicker?"
SV: "I'm trying, I'm trying to go as fast as I can."
Ironically Force India and Red Bull are next to one another on the pitwall, and Christian Horner and Otmar Szafnauer have been shooting looks at one another...
"I might have floor damage."
Our replay shows that yes you do Max. It looks like Ocon took a bite out of your floor.

Rob Hill: What in the world has Ocon done there?!
Kayleigh: Knew I hated you Ocon.
Ben: What in the world was that? Ocon was way out of line.
Otmar Szafnauer, Force India's team boss on the pitwall says: "I'm really disappointed, I don't think Max left him any room and he knew he was there. For sure hes got to leave him room otherwise they run into each other."

What happened? We were looking at Raikkonen passing Valterri Bottas. It was Esteban Ocon. What was Ocon doing? Ocon was in 16th position. For race position, it's a bad move. When you're a lap behind, it's an outrage. That is the worst bit of driving I've seen.
What a ******* idiot. What a ******* idiot.
Verstappen spins after colliding with Esteban Ocon.
Ocon was trying to unlap himself, and got in the way of Verstappen. It doesn't look like there's any damage to Verstappen, but he lost his lead to Hamilton.
In the fight for fifth, Daniel Ricciardo brushes with Sebastian Vettel, but Vettel says in fifth.

Engineer: "Get in there my son. Get. In. There."
Max Verstappen storms past Hamilton to reclaim the lead. Verstappen is on newer, and quicker soft tyres compared to Hamilton's mediums.
Ricciardo goes in for his first pit stop, and comes out in sixth. He's now on the softs too.
Charles Leclerc has been knocked out of the top six by Kevin Magnussen. Good work from the Monegasque who will join Ferrari next year, he's been hanging in the top six since the first lap.

T Dennis Immanuel: Ferrari must do all they can to sign Verstappen. He is the real new Schumacher.
Jennifer Harris: Re: 17:51. Daniel, I agree. Dan, they don't need either the expense or the easily upset personality of MV.
John Monks: Massive shame to see both Williams and McLaren languishing at the back of the pack. Difficult to see how either can ever get back to winning ways under the current F1 financial rules.

Verstappen had one second per lap of traffic before he came in, and it was a slow stop as well, more than three seconds. That's why Hamilton has come out in front there. But there's a significant difference in tyre life. Verstappen pitted 16 laps later and he's on the softs, the quicker tyre.
