Aaron Prior: Have to say, controversial as it is, the halo has rather proved its worth this season I think. Amazing Hulkenberg can get up and walk away from that.

Jeremiah: Hartley having a fight with the walls and he is all by himself.

Roxy: Pfft, thats both my favourites out now. This better be a good race now.

Rob Hill: Verstappen driving around in a bad mood, with a faulty engine, is exactly what this race needs. Fun for everyone except the other drivers.

"Hamilton decided to pit, so did Charles Leclerc, so did Romain Grosjean. That's good news for Leclerc and Grosjean, who were on the hypersofts. Interesting strategy with Hamilton, with echoes of what happened in Austin, when he was pitted under the virtual safety car, and it perhaps cost him the race."

Good decision for the stewards not to penalise Grosjean. There are a lot of cars bunched together on the opening lap and things happen. I don't think he was at fault at all.

The stewards say no further action on the incident. Just a pure racing incident which was pretty scary to see.

  20. 'It was a scary looking accident'published at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2018

    Jolyon Palmer
Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 live

Hulkenberg looks fine in the end. You could hear the panic in his voice. That's one of the fears of the halo, that it traps you in the car. The marshals and medical crew were there pretty quick and they've got him out OK. Grosjean's left front hit Hulkenberg's rear and flipped him round. It was a scary looking accident, and it's great to see he's OK.
