Attack! Hamilton goes wide and has a nibble at Vettel, but the German has the inside for the next corner and just about hangs on. Brilliant wheel-to-wheel racing between last years' top two.

Just what we always want to see. Superb racing, and superb defending from Vettel.

Two in two corners for Kimi Raikkonen, on newer tyres. It's Raikkonen versus Toro Rosso. Played two, won two. Firstly Kvyat overtaken, then Albon. Still only 12th for the Finn though.

Is Charles Leclerc looking after his tyres. If he has done and does not need to pit then the win is surely his.

Verstappen was on the mediums and struggling, and he's back in the pits. So it's a two stopper for Verstappen.

Slow, slow, slow, that's cost him a good two seconds there.

It's a lonely race for Max Verstappen.

Lance Stroll is trying to unlap himself, and that brings back bad memories for Versatappen.

Max must be thinking 'get a life, man'

Daniel Ricciardo weaving his way through the track is always a sight to behold. He won't be able to do that as effectively as in the past, but he's just nipped past Kevin Magnussen and that's 11th for the Australian, with Sergio Perez the only thing separating him from a point.

A much-needed points finish coming up for Pierre Gasly. He failed to get into Q3 at either of the qualifying and in, what is regarded as the third best car on the grid, is currently ninth.

He sounded like he was in tears during qualifying yesterday, so hopefully today will cheer him up a bit.

Since Ferrari's newest recruit has taken the first Ferrari pole of the year, and is the second youngest pole sitter, we're wondering what happened to the youngsters.

    1. Sebastian Vettel - Monza 2008 - went on to be a four-time world champion and one of the most successful drivers.

    2. Charles Leclerc - Sakhir 2019 - our newest pole sitter in this list, and by the looks of this list, he's got a bright future ahead.

    3. Fernando Alonso - Malaysia 2003 - two-time Formula 1 world champion, arguably one of the great drivers of all time, and now doing for the triple crown of winning: Le Mans, Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy500.

    4. Rubens Barrichello - Spa 1994 - 11 wins, 14 pole positions, he's no world champion but he's still in the history books amongst the legends, and his name rings many bells.

    5. Lewis Hamilton - Canada 2007 - The five-time world champion, has the most poles by a rather large margin with 84, and another driver considered for the GOAT award.
