Lap 47/52
Instead, Valterri Bottas pits.
Odd one that. Hamilton didn't need to pit, so not sure why they called him in. The crew had got ready for his arrival but have stood down now. They are happy for him to stay out until the end.
Bottas is onto softs for the final few laps and looks on course to secure second.
Lap 46/52
Lewis Hamilton is told to pit, but he's not having any of that as he sails past the pit entrance and stays out...
"Ok Lewis so box, box."
Lol.

A round of applause when it is announced that Sebastian Vettel has a 10-second penalty. That Ferrari one-two in a practice session earlier this weekend seems a long time ago. Vettel currently last of those still going.
James Doe: WOW! Sebastian Vettel with yet another error. I think we’re starting to see the end of him as one of the top top drivers. #bbcf1, external#F1, external

Again, Ferrari on the wrong side of a penalty but I don't think they can argue this one.
Craig: Vettel with yet again an absolute shocker!! #bbcf1, external
Lap 44/52
Oh, spoke too soon, Renault? Nico Hulkenberg is suddenly running VERY slowly and drops out of the points.

There's so many good battles here today around this iconic venue.
Lap 43/52
Ten second time penalty for Sebastian Vettel, not that it makes a massive difference. He's dead last in 17th.
Alex Lloyd: How on earth does Vettel come out of that and go “What was he doing?” Clearly you just drove into the back of Verstappen. The man is delusional #bbcf1, external#skyf1, external
Lap 42/52
The crash will also be good news for Valterri Bottas as he'll be able to pit soon and should stay second ahead of Charles Leclerc.
