Lap 41/44
Lance Stroll nudges, literally, ahead of Romain Grosjean. It won't be for any points, but a bit of action.
Lap 41/44
Hamilton's lead is 4.5 seconds. Four laps to get his man and snatch the victory. Leclerc's heartbeat must be racing up.
Four laps for him to hang on and win for the very first time in F1.
Lap 40/44
You won't hear this often. Team orders forcing Sebastian Vettel to move aside for Charles Leclerc.
Tom AkA Fetzie: To Vettel's credit, he managed to run against Hamilton for multiple laps without hitting anything. Progress.
Michael Painter: I can't be the only person who wants Charles Leclerc to win this
Engineer: "Cars ahead do have old tyres."
"No no no no, no, sorry dude, I've been here for 30 laps there is no chance I cannot do anything."
Does he ever stop moaning?
Lap 39/44
Hamilton, not for the first time this season, is chasing down a leader. He caught Max Verstappen late on in Hungary, can he catch Leclerc late on in Belgium?

Darren: Alex Albon - I think Red Bull Racing just pulled another Verstappen
Josh Earl: Albon showing why he was promoted
Lap 38/44
Charles Leclerc lost his lead with nine laps to go in Bahrain when an engine failure denied him a maiden F1 win. He's now within seven laps of that first victory.
Getting nervous Charles? His lead is under six seconds with Hamilton closing the gap.
Lap 36/44
"That was some racey stuff from Albon," says Jack. "Excellent." is what comes over the radio from Albon's engineer.

That's a corner nobody goes around the outside or the inside on! Albon really chanced it, he didn't need a second corner to try and make it work.
Lap 36/44
You always want to do well in your first week at a new job. So Alexander Albon will be delighted to have gone round former Red Bull man Daniel Ricciardo.
The team in the garage love that one. That's him up to eighth after starting 17th because of grid penalties that weren't even his fault, picked up by the man he replaced Pierre Gasly.
Lap 35/44
Lando Norris still fifth with neither Sebastian Vettel in fourth or Sergio Perez in sixth anywhere near him.
That would better the sixth spots for the teenage Brit that he achieved at both Bahrain and Austria.
Lap 34/44
But Bottas does not need that mistake after all. Sebastian Vettel dives into the pits for a 10-lap sprint on the softs, hoping the tyres of those in front of him fall apart.
Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc is 10 laps away from his first ever win.

Bottas will need one mistake from Vettel in the next 11 laps and he will be through.
Vettel pits that's the right thing to do, he's chewed up his tyres.

Alex Albon now on a charge, he is tucked up behind Pierre Gasly for 10th, that moves Albon up in 10th meanwhile Kvyat is attaching Romain Grosjean for eighth.

Leclerc still leads; Hamilton closing #bbcf1
Jeroen Demmendaal: So Ferrari basically sacrifices Vettel to protect Leclerc’s victory. That’s a welcome change.
Josh Earle: Brilliant from Lewis!! He had to work for that!
Lap 33/44
And Hamilton, after being held up, does get his man and up to second. But Leclerc's lead is now six seconds. Hamilton has 11 laps to charge him down.

He's barely closing at all when they come over the Kemmel straight. The Ferrari is so quick in a straight line. It's starting to feel like its going to be a lunge in the bus stop or something.
