Oops. Vettel has a bump in Milan
Sebastian Vettel won his first race at Monza, which was the last wet race at Monza, with Toro Rosso after scoring pole position in qualifying.
It remains the team's only race win, and it made him the youngest driver to be victorious age 21, but that was beaten by Max Verstappen in 2016 when he won at 18.
There was certainly a lotta love for Ferrari at their 90th birthday celebrations in Milan on Wednesday.

That would be the qualifying legend that is Lewis Hamilton of course with a career total of 87 poles.
Jim Clark also has three poles at Monza alongside Vettel and Schumacher

Antonio Giovinazzi is the first Italian driver to race at Monza since Vitantonio Liuzzi and Jarno Trulli in 2011.
And he races for Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo, with an Italian engine (Ferrari).
Last year Kimi Raikkonen broke the record for fastest lap to launch himself into pole position in a Ferrari. It was a 1:19.119, which is an average speed of around 163mph.
He broke Juan Pablo Montoya's 2004 record of approximately 162mph.
Oranje army or the tifosi?
This is a must watch.

It was all smiles here, at Ferrari's 90th anniversary celebrations in Milan on Wednesday, when Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel were pictured with team boss Mattia Binotto.
But which one of Binotto's boys do you think will have the broadest smile after qualifying today?

We are still waiting for a full update on Alex Peroni following his terrifying crash in this morning's Formula 3 race at Monza.
The Australian driver has been taken to hospital for a full check-up, but thankfully he was at least able to walk to the medical car that rushed to his aid.

Monza is achingly beautiful. And it is steeped in an atmosphere born of a rich history almost as long as that of motorsport itself.
Located in a royal park and nestled in dense woodland, Monza has an ambience unmatched by any rival.
Cool, misty mornings in early September Lombardy give way to hot, sunny days. Protected trees cast moody shadows. The light is a golden late-summer haze, the backdrop the foothills of the Alps.
Out there in the woods, the ear-splitting scream of an F1 engine at 18,000rpm (in the pre-turbo-hybrid era) gives way to a silence punctuated by birdsong.

Kayleigh: I think Max might break a few Italian hearts today and steal pole. A 2-3 for Ferrari. The McLaren babs into Q3 too please
It's a home grand prix for Antonio Giovinazzi, and Gunether Steiner.
It's also a home grand prix for Ferrari who are drenched in Italian history.
But don't discount Alfa Romeo. The team formerly known as Sauber are Swiss, but the Alfa Romeo brand is very much Italiano.
Alfa Romeo celebrated by unveiling a new green, white, and red livery for this race.

Sebastian Vettel set the pace after Italian Grand Prix final practice was delayed by 10 minutes after a huge accident in the Formula 3 race.
Australian Alex Peroni was launched into the air by a kerb at the high-speed Parabolica corner and landed upside down on the barrier. He was unhurt.
The delay was caused by race officials removing the kerb, intended to prevent drivers going faster by running wide.
Vettel headed Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in the shortened session by 0.032 seconds.
Just 0.103secs covered the top four, with Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas third and Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari fourth, and 0.301secs the top six, in which Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo was a surprise fifth ahead of world championship leader Lewis Hamilton.
Several drivers had lap times deleted after running wide into the Parabolica run-off area after the kerb was removed.

Norris met his "hero" nine-time world champion and Italian motorbike legend, Valentino Rossi at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix (MotoGP). This weekend he has a special Rossi style helmet, boots and hat.
It was only on a second glance, I saw the significance...
Think helmet and boots, and motorbikes.

It's a home race for Antonio Giovinazzi who finished that session in P9. But Kimi Raikkonen was way down in P15.
