Jared Maobe: If Hamilton was childish like Leclerc and Versterpen, he could have forced his way over Leclerc into the 1st corner, but he's looking into the championship, and booom.. the two boys handed 3rd place to him...

Allan Schoenherr: You can see why F1 want the new rules for 2021. Leclerc causes a crash on the first lap but will probably end up P5. Exciting to watch but utterly dispiriting for the mid-table teams. Gap too wide.

The stewards will investigate the incicdent between Verstappen and Leclerc after the race, which likely means another lengthy post-race wait for a decision on penalties.

Leclerc could get a time penalty if he's found guilty. 'Let them race' is the way the rules are at the moment.

Valtteri Bottas is quickly closing in on Lewis Hamilton. They're on different strategies remember, Bottas a two-stop (one still to come) and Hamilton a one-stop (still to come).

By the way, Alexander Albon down in eighth is currently in possession of the fastest lap. That's a bonus point if he keeps there, as long as he comes in the top 10. Kevin Magnussen got the fastest lap two races ago in Singapore but there was no bonus point as he came 17th.

Oh, actually, scrap that, Mercedes say Bottas is on a two-stop strategy, but Hamilton is only going to be a one-stop plan. One Mercedes driver is not going to be happy by this. Which one?

Our leader Valtteri Bottas is also into the pits. That will be Lewis Hamilton inheriting the lead. A different strategy from Mercedes. Bottas on the mediums, Mercedes will be hoping that is the only time they see him.
