Romain Grosjean spins and clearly isn't happy with his car. "I don't have words," he snaps. "Simple as that."

Daniel Ricciardo is trying to move his mirror into position with his left hand but he's just got to keep going and hope the team radio tells him when there's traffic behind. I don't know what's more dangerous; driving with one hand or driving with no right-hand side mirror!

Ken Dolman: Practice has a lot of sandbagging, Where a tyre will last for several laps, some teams use the addition of S3+S1+S2 as their main timing but the circuit timing won't show a good lap.
Francesca Gunn: Here we go! Lewis starting to turn up. Was never worried, can't wait for qualifying.
Rachel T: Absolutely love it when Lewis Hamilton nonchalantly boshes in a lap like that.
Daniel Ricciardo casually adjusts his wing mirror at almost 200mph. The vibrations keep knocking it out of position and it is clearly distracting the Australian and a promising lap ends with the 10th quickest time.
His Renault team-mate Esteban Ocon is fourth quickest with 1:34.239, so that's something Ricciardo has to aim for once he's got his mirror tightened.
Some fast times coming in now as we get stuck well into the qualifying simulation runs.
Sergio Perez is up to fourth with 1:34.252 while Max Verstappen is looking strong on his lap before traffic scuppers his run and he'll have to go again.

Jeremiah: A good lap from Hamilton. But it is Vettel who would be smiling for being faster than Leclerc. At least, the Ferrari's can finish a happier lot if the session ends as it stands now.

Sebastian Vettel does a 1:34.594 to go fourth quickest but is quickly bumped down to P5 as Carlos Sainz leaps up to P3, eight tenths down on Lewis Hamilton. Strong lap.
And indeed he does, by seven tenths with a 1:33.279.
Lewis Hamilton finds an extra four tenths in the middle sector of his lap and is well on course to go quickest here.
Valtteri Bottas is back out on softs and is on with a flyer. Grip is looking good now and he improves with a 1:34.055.

Everyone is back in their respective garages as they prepare for their qualifying simulation runs with just over 20 minutes of the session remaining.

It's a better first run from Max Verstappen but Pierre Gasly in the Alpha Tauri is only half a second away from him, so we haven't seen the true pace of most of the midfielders yet. Or Mercedes either, I believe.
Good first lap from Max Verstappen as he goes second quickest, just 0.017 seconds slower than Valtteri Bottas.

Gasly caught that with a lot of speed into the apex and that's what spun him around. It's an easy corner to spin on.
Pierre Gasly is facing the wrong way just off the track after spinning at Turn 15. He's avoided the wall and is all good to get himself back up and running.
