Hamilton goes wide, gets back on the track but has dropped to fifth. Sixth to third to fifth in the first lap.
Everyone is on the full wets and Hamilton has catapulted himself from sixth to third, Verstappen has gone from second to fifth.
Vettel up to fourth from 11th.
The two Racing Points are one-two, Verstappen crawled off the line.

This could be - indeed, likely will be - one of the most momentous days in sporting history. Lewis Hamilton might only be starting sixth on the grid, and heading into a race in which there is no certainty at all that his Mercedes will be the fastest car, but winning a seventh title - at least on paper - should be considerably easier than winning the race.
Although Hamilton being Hamilton, he will want to do both. To end this day as the most successful racing driver in history, Hamilton simply has to not lose more than seven points to Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas. As he already has a three-place advantage, and neither will start as favourite to win the race, that has to be considered a good bet, as long as he stays out of trouble.
