Can Perez be any sort of problem for the Mercedes in this race? He wasn't at the start in a conventional way because he lost out to the midfielders but now he is in the lead, we know he is very good with his tyres, he has been kind on his tyres all his career. He had a storming drive here last year.
Can he keep his tyres alive enough to take advantage of a safety car were it to come or just be enough of a problem for Hamilton if Hamilton catches him?

Rob Hill, Manchester: This is surely the last season at Mercedes for Bottas. He's not in the same league as Hamilton or Verstappen. So easy to overtake.
Richard: Once again Bottas is showing why he's the wingman/number 2 driver.
A safety car would certainly spice things up. If not, hard to see what could go wrong for Lewis Hamilton from here.
"So we are unsafe to Perez on a safety car."
"Yes come on!!"

Have to say, the pit stop difference between the Red Bull team and the Mercedes team really contributed to that as well - one second difference.
Perez with a 12-second lead, but has not pitted. Hamilton, in effect with the lead of the race, then it's Verstappen and Bottas.
Perez will drop to fourth when he pits.
Hamilton: "Tyres still OK"
Mercedes: "Box, box."
Could Hamilton have gone longer before coming in?
Lewis Hamilton pits from the lead so Sergio Perez inherits the lead, but he has not stopped. A safety car now for Perez could be golden.
Bottas slides, Verstappen is behind him and they're wheel-to-wheel and now the Dutchman is ahead for second.
Red Bull's bold move pays off and they advance a place.

Martin: Mercedes a class act. Is Toto the best manager in the UK?
After Verstappen pitted, in comes Bottas the next lap.
"Verstappen is boxing. Pick up the pace."
Verstappen slammed into the pits at pace. Not a second to waste. Was it legal? We'll let you know if it wasn't.
Max Verstappen the first of the top seven to pit and it's the hards for the Dutchman as Red Bull try the undercut to get ahead of Bottas.
We're into the second half and Hamilton's lead is pretty much four seconds.
"That's another good lap mate. That's quicker than those cars again. This is going well. This is going well."
None of the top seven have pitted yet - Hamilton, Bottas, Verstappen, Perez, Ricciardo, Alonso and Stroll.
