And Yuki Tsunoda's race is done. He's jumped out the car and that's going to be a safety car on lap eight of 66.

This is going badly for Mercedes. There are six seconds between Hamilton and Leclerc. Bottas has got to pass Leclerc quickly.
Bottas is drifting out of contention.
"Engine stop," says the Alpha Tauri man.

Luke: We saw multiple crashes at Turn One in the F3 yesterday. Hamilton's super quick reactions avoided another carbon copy repeat of the carnage caused.

The longer Leclerc keeps Bottas behind the more likely we are to have a one-on-one duel at the front.
Otherwise Mercedes could use Bottas to force Verstappen to move in the pit-stop phase.
After only six laps, Charles Leclerc is already nearly nine seconds off the lead. It's all about Verstappen v Hamilton once again.
But a proper two-team battle is something we haven't had much in recent past seasons. Enjoy.

It is perfect for Red Bull. They have got the lead and Leclerc has got ahead of Bottas.
Hamilton had a good enough start. He then didn't defend the inside. I don't think he thought Verstappen would lunge it like he did. I think he underestimated how keen Verstappen would be to get ahead at the start.
I reckon there might have been a touch. It was full commitment from Verstappen. It was aggressive but ultimately a fair move.

Sara Turle: Amazing start for Max. Real battle now on.
Sean Flynn: Does it matter that Max was over his yellow line at the start?
Daniel Ricciardo is another early climber, getting two spots from seventh to get ahead of Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon. Sainz went from sixth to eighth, Ocon fifth to seventh.

It's bad news for Mercedes as Hamilton dropped from first to second and Bottas fell from third to fourth, jumped by Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari.

Race on! What a move from Verstappen. Hamilton didn't think he would launch one from there. Verstappen was absolutely committed.
We've got a race on!
Verstappen takes the lead with a brilliant move at Turn 1. What a start! He goes wheel-to-wheel with Lewis Hamilton and then passes him.
